2003 Summer Archaeology Field School

The University of Missouri-Columbia and co-sponser Federico Villarreal University of Lima Field School in Archaeology and Bioarchaeology invite you to study with top Peruvian and North American experts in archaeology and bioarchaeology at the site of Buena Vista in the Chillón Valley, Peru.

Join us to investigate what role Buena Vista played in the economic system that supported the rise of large ceremonial centers, such as El Paraiso, on the coast of Peru. Students will have the opportunity to learn techniques in archaeological investigation, as well as learn bio-archaeological techniques to study the human skeleton.
